I’ve only recently joined the gym and I go 3 times a week, usually around 1.5-2 hours there. I do a lot of cardio because I’m trying to lose weight and I’ll start toning up soon by taking pilates and yoga classes and weights and stuff too. The ABC diet is a calorie restrictive diet where it ranges from 0-500 calories a day, on days there it’s 0, it’s called a fast. There is one day where you can have 800 calories. But it’s not too great for long term weight loss, it gives fast results because you’re not eating too much but to keep the weight off you really need to exercise and eat healthy etc. To lose those last pounds I personally think you need to eat clean and do cardio often! Cut the junk food and fizzy drinks etc but yeah, good luck to you! This has become a little essay aha
I basically just Googled the question so:
Do not skip breakfast! Picture your metabolic rate shaped as an ice cream cone. In other words, starting at the top – it is at its highest in the morning and starts to decline on a gradual level as the day progresses.
Eat more protein! The hormone glucagon is released in response to dietary protein, such as egg whites, low-fat cheese, lean meats, chicken, fish and protein powder. Glucagon signals fat cells to release fat into the blood, thereby promoting its use. In other words, more fat is burned and more weight is lost when you eat more protein.
And exercise I’m guessing!
Good luck
